Due to other work I do not have time to continue maintaining this package. I don't know if it will make sense to have this package in debian after 2.6 is out and/or the hostap drivers go into the 2.4.2x series, which I think they might. wlan-ng and hostap serve fairly overlapping purposes. This package has gotten me more user feedback than most, and most of that seems to be interest in the precompiled kernel modules for the stock debian kernels that I make available. I hope whoever takes the package over will be willing to commit to contining to produce those modules, or finding a migration path that will involve providing support for the same cards with our stock kernels. --=20 see shy jo --AhhlLboLdkugWU4S Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/jfP0d8HHehbQuO8RAk2OAKDG1KLWbFOUKOy2us+QPERI3oxAbQCeM55k HjO/EmC6X4MaIrPvDicyJzM= =DrAO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --AhhlLboLdkugWU4S-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 216035-close) by bugs.debian.org; 18 Apr 2004 08:53:14 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Apr 18 01:53:14 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BF838-0005aV-00; Sun, 18 Apr 2004 01:53:14 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BF7xE-0001MG-00; Sun, 18 Apr 2004 04:47:08 -0400 From: Bradley Bell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.47 $ Subject: Bug#216035: fixed in linux-wlan-ng 0.2.0-14 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 18 Apr 2004 04:47:08 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-5.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 1 Source: linux-wlan-ng Source-Version: 0.2.0-14 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of linux-wlan-ng, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: linux-wlan-ng-doc_0.2.0-14_all.deb to pool/main/l/linux-wlan-ng/linux-wlan-ng-doc_0.2.0-14_all.deb linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14.diff.gz to pool/main/l/linux-wlan-ng/linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14.diff.gz linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14.dsc to pool/main/l/linux-wlan-ng/linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14.dsc linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14_i386.deb to pool/main/l/linux-wlan-ng/linux-wlan-ng_0.2.0-14_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
