Initial packaging is ready, and is in a good enough state to be tested on non-critical systems: http://git.vv221.fr/debian/metalog/ This packaging is not complete yet, I still have to decide on how to handle logs rotation, between: - relying on metalog built-in rotation system - delegating logs rotation to logrotate No matter which option I go with, the rotation settings are going to be copied from the logrotate configuration shipped with rsyslog on Debian. I am already using this package on several Debian Trixie systems, and plan to migrate a Sid system to it too. If I notice no glaring problem after a couple days/weeks, this is going into the NEW queue for an integration into the Debian archive.
