Hi Steve,
this RFA bug is now >3 years old and it seems nobody has picked up
the package. IMHO it is time to orphan the package. Since it
came up as a Bug of the Day[1] candidate I spent some time on it.
I created a repository on Salsa[2] which fixes all bugs and have a
modernised packaging.
I hope you are fine if I'll do a QA upload of this code.
