I intend to orphan the flameshot package. The package description is: Flameshot is a powerful yet simple-to-use screenshot software. Notable features include customizable appearance, in-app screenshot editing, D-Bus interface, experimental GNOME/KDE Wayland support, integration with Imgur and support for both GUI and CLI interface. Upstream stopped vendoring some required dependencies that, though packaged in Debian, are not up-to-date and/or do not provide static libraries on the -dev package (eg: kdsingleapplication). From my limited debugging efforts, latest (13.0+) flameshot versions work fine when built with statically compiled kdsingleapplication, but fail when dynamically linking with it (even after trying building kdsingleapplication 1.2.0 from Salsa -- still `UNRELEASED` as of today). If that is the actual root cause, coordination with kdsingleapplication maintainer would be needed to install the static (`.a`) version of the lib, as well as uploading its newest version, as upstream will not work on this [1]. Due to personal stuff, I don't have the time to debug it any further. Thus, I'm orphaning flameshot in the hope someone else will be able to resolve those in a more timely manner.
