Currently, the official GitHub repo has the Linux_x86_64.tar.bz2 and tar.gz files.
I have no experience in packaging since I have only used apt so far. But if someone could tell me how to start, I might make an attempt. I cannot guarantee I will succeed, or that I can maintain it. It would depend on the difficulty as well, but I would like to try I read that I would have to file an ITP on bugreport, but I don't know what to do after that. Or how to make a Debian package out of tar.
