Hello, dear Debian developers :^) I'm author of Newsraft project and it's a great pleasure to see Newsraft being requested for packaging in Debian.
If someone is willing to take this on, please don't hesitate to hit me up with questions/patches, as I'd really love to cooperate! In case there are any changes required upstream, we can easily arrange that. I intend to release Newsraft 0.33 somewhere around the end of September, so that'd be the first convenient occasion to make the necessary fix-ups to meet all possible Debian guidelines which might currently not be complied with.
