Hello, I'm a long time (>25 years) Debian user and looking to contribute to the project when I came across this RFH. I managed Linux servers with Apache as our primary HTTP server for about 15 years. My C is a pretty rusty but I wrote a lot back in the late 90s, early 2000s.
Given that the bug is still open I assume the apache2 package could still use some assistance? Anything of particular urgency that I could start with to get my feet wet as an inexperienced maintainer? Keith
