Description : terminal gopher client
sacc (short for saccomys) is a terminal gopher client. Gopher is a simple
protocol to retrieve hierarchical information. The protocol is defined in RFC
1436. sacc also supports non-standard TLS encryption, if built with TLS
support, with the gophers:// scheme.
Unlike the offpunk package which supports the http, gemini and spartan
protocols next to gopher, sacc supports gopher{,s} only: One could call sacc a
more focused, and thus smaller, tool.
It builds just fine on current Debian 12 bookworm stable; obviously it needs a
libtls-dev build-depends.
The license looks like MIT/X to me at first sight, but has a slight difference:
it states, @ git://bitreich.org/sacc LICENSE :
Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software for any
purpose with or without fee is hereby granted, provided that the above

.
_If_ I find the time (ha!), I'll work on packaging sacc in the debian space on
salsa.debian.org.
Bye,
Joost

What have I been smoking!?!?
sacc has been shipped with Debian since ever. It's in perfectly
good shape thanks to Paride Legovini's fine work.
Closing this bogus bug, sorry for the noise.
Bye,
Joost
