The client periodically connects to no-ip.com's DNS servers and updates your domain name to point to your current temporary address. no-ip.com offers FREE accounts if you use a subdomain of no-ip.com (for example, vlm.no-ip.com) For a minimal cost, no-ip.com also offers various other dynamic DNS related services, such as using your own domain name instead of using one of no-ip's subdomains. One good example of how to use this service, is to register your DSL connected PC using no-ip.com.
