The package description is: Cint (pronounced "C-int") is a C/C++ interpreter. It has 80-90% coverage of K&R-C, ANSI-C and C++ language constructs (multiple inheritance, virtual functions, function overloading, operator overloading, default parameters, templates, etc.) Cint is solid enough to interpret its own source code and let the interpreted interpreter interpret a (small) program. With the program "makecint" it is possible to mix native code execution and interpretation by linking to precompiled libraries. . Cint is not aimed to be a 100% ANSI/ISO compliant C++ language processor. It rather is a portable script language environment which is close enough to the standard C++. . See <http://root.cern.ch/root/Cint.html> for detailed information. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 207713-done) by bugs.debian.org; 2 Sep 2003 10:51:37 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 02 05:51:35 2003 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from luonnotar.infodrom.org [195.124.48.78] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 19u8l4-0006fL-00; Tue, 02 Sep 2003 05:51:35 -0500 Received: by luonnotar.infodrom.org (Postfix, from userid 10) id 111B4366B68; Tue, 2 Sep 2003 12:51:33 +0200 (CEST) Received: at Infodrom Oldenburg (/\##/\ Smail-3.2.0.102 1998-Aug-2 #2) from infodrom.org by finlandia.Infodrom.North.DE via smail from stdin id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Tue, 2 Sep 2003 08:50:14 +0200 (CEST) Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2003 08:50:13 +0200 From: Martin Schulze <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Colin Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: Luk Claes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#207713: Do you mean ginaccint? A new package would have to meet the requirements of a new package, hence somebody would have to open an ITP or RFP bug report if there is still interest in this package.
