There are packages for Mandrake, Gentoo and others for some time now. ATI at least doesn't forbid the distribution actively. The documentation of the drivers lacks an explicit licence statement. I have contacted the ATI developer support to clarify the situation. Of course I won't upload anything before the licence is clear.
