* Package name : rkdeveloptool Version : 1.3+git20190701.6e92ebc-1 Upstream Author : Kever Yang <kever.y...@rock-chips.com> * URL : http://opensource.rock-chips.com/wiki_Rkdeveloptool * License : GPL-2.0 Programming Lang: C++ Description : tools for working with Rockchip ARM processors through the rockusb protocol This package provides tools to communicate with various Rockchip ARM processors which support the RockUSB protocol (e.g rk3288, rk3328, rk3399 ...). The tool includes support to interact with the processors' low-level bootrom (MaskROM) as well as interact with the recovery or firmware-download protocol rockusb. This makes it possible to upload firmware to flash, download firmware from flash, erase flash, reset the device, read manufacturing information from the processor as well as other commands. This package is useful for anyone performing low-level debugging on Rockchip devices. Currently, there are no other implementations of the rockusb protocol available in Debian so manually compiling from source is currently required for anyone wanting to upload images to their Rockchip board and a package would make this process a lot simpler. I am looking for a sponsor for this package.
