LIBTPMS provides TPM emulation for TPM 1.2 and TPM 2.0 without tying it to a specific storage backend or an interface for receiving TPM commands. One user of the LIBTPMS package is the SWTPM package. The SWTPM package provides several tools and simulating the manufacturing of a TPM by creating a TPM's EK and platform certificates, etc. This package is needed by qemu and/or libvirt for their "emulated TPM" feature. TPM has been widely used, so supporting TPM for a virtual machine is important for users and developers. Upstream already has a debian/ directory in git, so I revise it for the recent Debian package format.
