ftpmaster has rejected this "silly package". So it does not look like it will be in Debian soon.
In my opinion, this is a disturbingly bad case of non-appreciation of developer's work by ftpmaster, an instance that has far too much power in the Debian project. If you think this package should be in Debian, please write an article to debian-devel stating so.
