Description : a video codec for the Ogg multimedia framework

I probably will not be uploading anything to unstable until the API and ABI
stabilize, but I have been waiting for this for a long time, and I want to
get my claws in it now.

retitle 85784 ITP: Ogg Theora - Video codec from Xiph.org
submitter 85784 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
stop

Yes, It appears they will be going forward with Theora which is based on
VP3 instead of Tarkin. Xiph.org group is currently focuing on finishing
up the Neuros Ogg Vorbis support before finishing a releasable version of
Ogg Theora. I am closing bug 162345 and retitling this one so that it is
apparent in wnpp.

Thanks,
Chris
