Thanks for pointing this out and sorry for the wrong depiction. Nevertheless, I think it would complement pdns-tools, especially dnsbulktest. Thanks for the heads-up. This has changed in the version provided at akamai“s github repository[1]. As far as I can see, all relevant files have a license headers and a LICENSE file is provided. Unfortunately the tar.gz[2] provided at the URL I mentioned in the original post is an old version. It seems that the version has been updated from 2.1.0.0 to 2.1.1.0g in version.h. The RELEASE_NOTES have not changed and are still describing 2.1.0.0. There have been a lot of formatting changes and some small functional changes in the code. I also wrote an email to Akamai, expressing my intent to package. I am currently waiting for a response. My current approach is to mirror the version from Akamai“s repo[1] on salsa and add the relevant changes for packaging there. With a later update, I would include patches from other forks on github, after reviewing them. This would change the fields in the original post to: Version: 2.1.1.0g URL: https://github.com/akamai/dnsperf kind regards, Stefan References [1] https://github.com/akamai/dnsperf [2] http://wwwns.akamai.com/dnsperf-src-2.1.0.0-1.tar.gz
