I apologize for the delay here. Yes I am still interested in this package. I am starting a new initiative to get this packaged up along with nextcloud server. I think the client will be much easier to start with so I am going to begin here. I made a separate request today on the debian-mentors list to get a repo up and running on salsa[1].
