I've been looking at this a bit at debcamp. - several patches can be dropped because they (or some equivalent) are now upstream
- there is a long running divergence from upstream that provides daemonization and logging. There seems to be zero prospect of upstream taking this patch. There is also zero prospect that I want to maintain a fork of nullmailer in Debian. I think that for systemd users this functionality should be provided by just running nullmailer under systemd. I'm open to ideas on how to support nullmailer users with alternate init (and co-maintenence by such users). - there is currently one failing test in the upstream code of 2.0. http://lists.untroubled.org/?list=nullmailer&cmd=showmsg&msgnum=765 I'm hoping for some hint from upstream. Adding in the remaining debian patches causes further test failures, but hopefully that will be easy to bisect.
