I don't know, I'm kind of fond of it, and I hadn't seen freebirth was in
stable yet.  Not only that, but freebirth might be a bit overpowered if
all you want is a metronome.

I've been meaning to Debianize some of my other favorite packages (that
aren't already in the distro) for a while now, I've just been lazy.  So,
how do I go about becoming a new maintainer?  I'm assuming I should
start with the "Debian Maintainers Guide", but I'd like to get the ball
rolling before gtick disappears.  I suppose if it isn't being maintained
upstream, I should probably grab the last snapshot of it and look into
maintaining it as well.
