I recently started using it and like it because it's way more obvious
what it does and how it works than with the usual daemons from the
bloated desktop world, like e.g. gnome-settings-daemon. And it doesn't
pull in any other bloaty dependency.

I'm not keen on maintaining more packages, but then again this looks
like a low maintenance package.

So I'd take over if you don't mind.

The Vcs-Browser header
(http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=xsettingsd/xsettingsd.git;a=summary)
is wrong, but there seems to be a packaging repo at
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/xsettingsd.git/

I'll continue to use that.

Ranga: If you're still interested in helping with the xsettings
package, please tell me and I'll add you as co-maintainer and see how
you can get access to its Git repo.

P.S. to Bart: Despite I'm unhappy about retitling ITAs to O even if
they only were RFAs before, I'm glad about you or Lucas resetting them
in general as it makes it pop up with how-can-i-help and that's how I
noticed that xsettingsd has been RFAed in the beginning.

                Regards, Axel
