The Celera assembler website [1] now has a title that reads "If you are assembling PacBio or Oxford Nanopore data, please use Canu [2] instead. Celera Assembler is no longer being maintained." Description: Canu is a fork of the Celera Assembler designed for high-noise single-molecule sequencing (such as the PacBio RSII or Oxford Nanopore MinION).
