This package is already up to version 0.75 from 0.72 and the new version uses a new build system which means redoing the debian/rules. It's not trivial to build, and is not easy to test, being a kernel module. Upstream is very responsive and open to suggestions, the package includes the ability to have several modules installed at the same time, which upstream lacks. The location needs to be moved to another place /usr/lib/syscalltrack/<kver> Baruch
