That's a really god start. But "git-buildpackage --git-ignore-branch" ends with lintian errors and warnings that must be fixed. Some of them like "syntax-error-in-dep5-copyright line 11: Duplicate field copyright" can be fixed with "cme fix dpkg" (provided by libconfig-model-dpkg-perl), other will require more work. /usr/lib/libmoar.so should be a symlink towards a versioned libmoar. And libmoar.so should be delivered in a -dev package.
