Hi, I have recently been in touch with upstream (Stefan de Konink) and have been assisting with a few bugs in Cherokee.
I'd be interested in helping with the packaging since I will need to maintain updated Cherokee packages for myself for a Wheezy server anyway. Are you interested in co-maintaining the package in Sid?
