Hi Dominik, Is the lack of a working demo really a concern for you? Lots of software don't even try to provide it.
Also, I think not all the software is security-audited. As this is FLOSS, you can do it yourself :-) Maybe other options like Keepassx are stronger, but I've been using teampass for a while, and I like it (also, I'm heavily using Keepassx).
