Hi Simon.

Thanks for picking this up!

I am new to debian maintaining so the process is unclear to me how to
get a new package in.

What i have done / can do:
-> Prepared the upstream package that it can be build as a debian
package with git-buildpackage.
-> Added some diffs that the upstream package compiles / works on
raspberryPi (debian wheezy).

What i am unable to do / unsure:
-> Prepare binary packages for different debian arches / releases
-> How to also get this into ubuntu.

What is meant by sponsorship (the link you suggested)? Is it regarding
binary (already compiled) packages or source packages (upstream sources
including the debian/ folder) ?

Kind regards

Hauke
