The references in CVS (for this library and gnutls) now refer to it as libtasn1. Wouldn't that be the better name to use? > Version : 0.1.0 > Upstream Author : Fabio Fiorina <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > * URL : http://www.gnutls.org/ > * License : GPL Also, just to note that here has been a license change in the current CVS version. The current NEWS file in CVS says "License is now GNU Lesser GPL" (with the documentation being GNU FDL (no invariant sections, no front cover texts, no back cover texts)). Some bits (e.g. command line tools such as asn1c) are still GPL. Looks like another three license selection as for libgcrypt. ;-) > Description : ASN.1 library for use with GNUTLS This description implies that its only for use with GNUTLS. I thought it was more of a general-use ASN.1 library.
