I'll try it with the devices (P1000, S5360, I9300, N8010) too. Just tried it with my I9300, download-pit and flash recovery worked. But --no-reboot option doesn't seem to work correctly. The device only executes one action and doesn't respond anymore after that. I'll try to figure out why. But I think you should go ahead and upload it. Unless you don't want to maintain it yourself.
