* Package name : kernel-patch-2.4-rmap Version : 0.1 Upstream Author : Rik van Riel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://www.surriel.com/patches/ * License : GPL Description : Reverse mapping VM for Linux The reverse mapping VM is an attempt at creating a VM more like the traditional Unix and BSD VMs for Linux. The main changes are in the pageout selection code, where traditional Linux walks the virtual address spaces of processes. The -rmap VM walks physical pages instead and maintains a reverse mapping from these physical pages back to the virtual mappings to these pages. Apart from this -rmap also includes some other VM changes and serves as a development and testing platform for all kinds of new VM code. - -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux secure 2.4.19-pre2 #1 Seg Mar 11 17:42:15 BRT 2002 i586 Locale: LANG=pt_BR, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE81rtq7ftwBTcVV3gRAjYcAKCbqJczKE5iyDxY0qA51m8JW7fAxQCfQUDA xMxcbZiYTML7LaJMXga8E7U= =wUHt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
