AIUI, it is now possible[1] to use the sponsorship-requests pseudo-package[2] to address requests for sponsorship (the uploader closes the RFS bug). The bug has automatically been forwarded to d-m@l.d.o[3]. It is the first time I use this procedure, though. Thank you !
