I'm intending to adopt sffview. It's not got a huge user base, and fax
as a technology is certainly in decline, but the software has an engaged
upstream (I got a prompt and helpful response to forwarded patches for the
wxwidgets2.8 transition), and doesn't seem to have any major issues.
It's also pretty stable upstream - there's one new release since the
version we have packaged, but IIUC that's mostly just to incorporate the
fixes I made for wx 2.8.
I'd be totally happy to let someone else take care of the package or to
co-maintain it.
