Description : Iceweasel/Firefox extension
The Cookie Monster extension for Iceweasel/Firefox brings a powerful
control over the way cookies are set or not.
.
It makes it very easy to manage cookies in a whitelist-based way.
.
Cookie Monster features fine-grained temporary or permanent domain,
website and/or subdomains whitelisting in the same way the NoScript
extension does for scripts. For added ease of use, its user interface
is similar to the NoScript extension's one.
To the best of my knowledge, no extension currently in Debian allows
users to deal with cookies this way. Cookie Monster is to cookies what
NoScript is to JavaScript. Among the various vaguely similar
extensions I have reviewed and/or tested, only CS Lite is on par with
Cookie Monster feature-wise... but has not been maintained for a
while, and lacks the UI similarity with NoScript offered by Cookie
Monster.
I've justed tested Cookie Monster 1.0.5 using both Squeeze's Iceweasel
and Mike Hommey's backports of Iceweasel 4. Works fine in both
environments.
Bye,
