It is aimed at embedded systems but may also be used for standard systems. It works with almost any program (upstream author lists only mozilla and freeswan as non-working apps, and mozilla is likely to work on last released version). It comes with a wrapper for gcc and works for dynamic linking (something dietlibc currently lacks). It is more a glibc replacement for small systems than a small libc to link staticly to, so its goals are differente than dietlibc. It would be very nice to get it packaged so it eases developement of embedded systems as well as tiny Linux distributions. -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Kernel Version: Linux ulises 2.4.17 #1 sáb dic 22 01:07:33 CET 2001 i486 unknown --------------------------------------- Received: (at 140285-done) by bugs.debian.org; 28 Mar 2002 13:17:10 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 28 07:17:10 2002 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from (ulises.localnet) [213.37.6.135] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 16qZm8-0000EI-00; Thu, 28 Mar 2002 07:17:10 -0600 Received: from jlg by ulises.localnet with local (Exim 3.34 #1 (Debian)) id 16qZny-0000c3-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Thu, 28 Mar 2002 14:19:02 +0100 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: It's already packaged Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Jos=E9_Luis_Gonz=E1lez_Gonz=E1lez?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 28 Mar 2002 14:19:02 +0100 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
