I’ve pushed a first attempt to alioth:/git/pkg-mozext/dactyl.git and would like to get some feedback before uploading it. The main issue is this: By default, upstream moves most of the XPI file’s content into a subdirectory whose name is dynamically computed from the build time, apparently “to foil the fastload cache on upgrade”. I’d rather not have different paths for every build of the exact same package, so I’ve decided on using a revision-based directory name instead. Do you have an idea whether this is needed at all when dealing with system-wide extensions? The rest seems pretty straightforward to me, but given that this is the first time I’ve rummaged around the insides of a XUL extension, I’m pretty much bound to have messed something up. I would be grateful if one of you could have a look. Thanks in advance!
