(From xmldb's README) xmldb aims to provide an easy-to-use efficient 3-tier app server. Currently, it provides an xml persistance layer using the postgresql database. It is still by far the fastest program that retrieves xml data and translates it using xslt. However, it still has limited search capabilities. Required libraries are libxml2, libxslt, and pgsql. The gui requires gnome. Note: IANADD, so I am looking for an advocate/sponsor. I have already created binary deb packages for xmldb and I hope that someone wants to sponsor this package.
