Hi Ludo and Emmanuel! I must have been living in a cave, because I just learned about sdlmame, the merge into mame itself and the efforts to add this to the official Debian repositories.
In the ITP bug, I see there's been some confusion in the process to make your packages part of Debian officially, partly due to Bruno stating he would be in charge and then nothing happening for years. It seems both of you have agreed to work together to bring MAME to Debian. Is there any update on the status? I'm a Debian Developer and am willing to help you finish whatever is missing before you can do your first upload. I also offer my help if any of you want to become a DD or a Debian Maintainer.
