Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I've been working on packaging minidlna for debian. I'm not a maintainer, so I can't upload it myself, but feel free to use it in full or in part if you wish. It's available in a git repository <git://gitorious.org/minidlna/minidlna.git> and should build without issue by running git-buildpackage.
As it's my first attempt at packaging software for debian, I'm sure it's not perfect (I'm still working on the man page, and I have to come up with an init script), so I would be glad to get any feedback on how to improve it.
