Sorry, I have been a bit lazy here. However, I am still interested in these packages. Since I primarily use GTK based desktops it might make more sense for a KDE user to take on kbedic. In which case I'll certainly not stand in anyone's way but I would like to help out either way. Thanks for the nudge.
