Hi,
the long description you proposed isn't clear enough about support or lack
of it for mbox mailboxes. From the reading of it, it sounds like they are
not supported, but since mbox is Debian's default, that should be said
explicitely.
Of course, any serious mail admin uses Maildir -- like, one of my users has
6GB of mail on the server, and the second worst offender 2GB, trying to
access that with mbox would bring the server to its knees. Yet, due to the
power of defaults, you can be sure that most (by number, not the volume of
mail) servers use mbox.
