Hi Norbert, (hi others who care of Sakura in Debian), Norbert Preining wrote: > the last activity here was about one year ago, is there any progress?
Sorry, I didn't follow on the sakura upstream development for long. My last in touch was too long ago, and I remember roughly as we found the memory usage issue with tabs and new window. > Surprisingly, you are talking about sakura 3.3.3, which the web page > I am seeing is stating 2.3.7? I mentioned evilvte and lxtermianl, both supports share one processs for all tabs to reduce memory usage for a long time. Not sure if Sakura also supports it now? > So is there *any* chance to get that out at some point? Anyone still > interested in it? I uses lxterminal right now and it's completely desktop-independent as it fits all I needed. However, I'd love to have Sakura package in Debian if it fits the quality.
