Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2001-12-10 Severity: normal I had to orphan this package even if I really like to see German translations for mozilla in Debian. Unfortunately ma time constraints do not allow me to maintain it actively and I found Galeon to fit my personal needs (actually the needs of my family for a German browser).
But I would really like the package to stay into Debian and I really hope one German developer which is using mozilla will step in. The work to do is just to cope with new upstream versions. I do not expect complicated bugs. You allways have a good packaging example in mozilla-locale-ja from the mozilla Debian maintainer. (Thanks for all the hints Kitame!) He just did a change which is not yet implemented in the current mozilla-locale-de-at package but for the record I attach it to this orphaning message: Date: Fri, 23 Nov 2001 15:48:25 +0900 From: Takuo KITAME <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Andreas Tille <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: use update-mozilla-chrome Hi, I'm mozilla deb maintainer. I've written update-mozilla-chrome it is included in mozilla-browser_2:0.9.6-2. It's for update installed-chrome.txt and registry database. How to use it 1. put external 'installed-chrome.txt' in /var/lib/mozilla/chrome.d/ as named like '50foo.chrome' (50 is priority) 2. run update-mozilla-chrome in postinst. see also /usr/bin/update-mozilla-chrome. it's simple sh script.
