Hi Jonathan, Zeitgeist is already packaged, the code can be found in pkg-gnome's SVN and mostly it only needs a sponsor to be uploaded.
The ITP for it mentions "gnome-zeitgeist" because I back when Zeitgeist and the GNOME Activity Journal where the same project (known as "GNOME Zeitgeist"). Sorry for not having updated it.
