Jansson is a C library for encoding, decoding and manipulating JSON data. It features simple and intuitive API and data model, comprehensive documentation, no dependencies on other libraries, full unicode support (UTF-8) and an extensive test suite. Comments from submitter: I looked at 3 or 4 json libraries usable from C, and jansson seemed like the nicest, at least for generating json. I'd consider packaging it, but the author already makes packages available for Ubuntu, so maybe he wants to maintain them for Debian?
