Hostnames are highlighted in colours to indicate activity on the bus network based on time. The monitor includes statistics on transmitted and received packets, transmitted and received bytes, protocol of last packet (TX or RC), last communication partner (IP address) and Logging entire stats to an ASCII file. There is a TOP mode which allows a sorted list of hosts based on IP usage. All info is updated on a per second basis. --8<-- (from http://freshmeat.net/projects/netwatch/) -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux debian 2.4.16-pre1 #2 Sun Nov 25 21:33:40 CET 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.ISO-8859-1, LC_CTYPE=C --------------------------------------- Received: (at 121538-done) by bugs.debian.org; 28 Nov 2001 13:43:15 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 28 07:43:15 2001 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from hopi.hostsharing.net [66.70.34.150] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 1694zb-0000GA-00; Wed, 28 Nov 2001 07:43:15 -0600 Received: by hopi.hostsharing.net (Postfix, from userid 542) id 3426498022; Wed, 28 Nov 2001 14:42:51 +0100 (CET) Date: Wed, 28 Nov 2001 14:42:51 +0100 From: Noel Koethe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Christoph Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED], debian-devel@lists.debian.org Subject: Re: Bug#121538: ITP: netwatch -- console ethernet monitor Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> User-Agent: Mutt/1.3.22i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Mit, 28 Nov 2001, Christoph Martin wrote: > > * Package name : netwatch > > Version : 1.0a > > Upstream Author : Gordon MacKay <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > * URL : http://www.slctech.org/~mackay/netwatch.html > > netwatch is included in the netdiag package. thx.
