There is some work to do before the package can be uploaded, so I
agreed with the author to delay an upload until there is a new
upstream release, which will be approx. in March'2001.
I'm currently in the NM queue.

Description: plug-in replacement for standard talk
GNU Talk supports talk protocols 0 & 1. Defines protocol 2.
Client supports multiple connections, file transfer,
primitive encryption, shared apps, auto-answer, multiple
front-ends including [n]curses, Xaw, Xm, GTK and GNOME.

The daemon collects request versions 0, 1, & 2 together,
and permits interaction between clients of different
types.

Also supports MRU tty announce, announce-redirect,
blacklists, and tty-bomb filtering.

I hereby withdraw my ITP on gnutalk, which now has been pending for
almost a year. I don't use it any more and haven't worked on it for
quite some time now.
If anybody wants to pick it up, drop me a note and I will send you the
stuff I've done so far.
