I have packaged it, and it is included in Christian Marillat's unofficial
apt repository [0]. It seems Christian has taken over the actual
maintenance of it.

These are the outstanding issues that could prevent it from being
included in Debian:

1. It contains CSS code. However, I think I've resolved this by simply
   removing the CSS code for the Debian package. It requires uploading
   a modified "upstream" tarball. However, with the CSS code removed,
   I don't see why it couldn't go into main.

2. The upstream source doesn't build a shared library. Even though it's
   possible to modify it so that it does (which I have done), there is no
   official upstream soname, so any dynamic linking will be incompatible
   with future versions of the library that are shared.

3. The documentation for the library says that it requires kernel
   >= 2.4.4.  I'm fairly convinced that it doesn't (I've successfully
   used it with less), but I'm wary of completely disregarding its
   warning.
