It is, however, simple to produce binaries for other architectures: simply use the -a<architechture> command-line switch for dpkg-buildpackage (and thus debuild) and you can produce everyone's packages. This is not a bad package for a new maintainer to take, but it's not a great way to learn debian packaging: it's atypical in a number of ways. In any case, I'll continue to maintain it, but I am not going to be implementing the wishlist bugs in it. If someone wants to, they're free to have distributed-net. (Maybe you'll want to pick up distributed-net-pproxy, now orphaned by Anthony Towns). -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux pisces 2.4.4 #1 Sat Apr 28 02:29:56 EDT 2001 i686 --------------------------------------- Received: (at 96717-close) by bugs.debian.org; 1 Oct 2001 18:58:32 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 01 13:58:32 2001 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [206.246.226.45] (mail) by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 15o8Gu-0004ay-00; Mon, 01 Oct 2001 13:58:32 -0500 Received: from troup by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 15o8Fe-0004Bp-00; Mon, 01 Oct 2001 14:57:14 -0400 From: Noel Koethe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.59 $ Subject: Bug#96717: fixed in distributed-net 2.8015.4-1 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: James Troup <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 01 Oct 2001 14:57:14 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of distributed-net, which has been installed in the Debian FTP archive: distributed-net_2.8015.4-1_i386.deb to pool/non-free/d/distributed-net/distributed-net_2.8015.4-1_i386.deb distributed-net_2.8015.4-1.diff.gz to pool/non-free/d/distributed-net/distributed-net_2.8015.4-1.diff.gz distributed-net_2.8015.4.orig.tar.gz to pool/non-free/d/distributed-net/distributed-net_2.8015.4.orig.tar.gz distributed-net_2.8015.4-1.dsc to pool/non-free/d/distributed-net/distributed-net_2.8015.4-1.dsc A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
