Don't make the same mistake--please pick it up *only* if you plan to put a lot of time into it. There are some fairly major problems with the source as it exists, and the package should probably be removed before woody unless someone gives it a major overhaul. One possibility is to pull down the current BSD version, but that will require a porting effort itself. Again, tcsh will serve as an adequate replacement for just about everyone, so don't pick up csh just to keep it around. -- Mike Stone --------------------------------------- Received: (at 92493-close) by bugs.debian.org; 14 Jun 2001 18:57:03 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jun 14 13:57:03 2001 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from auric.debian.org [::ffff:206.246.226.45] by master.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 15AcIh-0005iK-00; Thu, 14 Jun 2001 13:57:03 -0500 Received: from troup by auric.debian.org with local (Exim 3.12 1 (Debian)) id 15AcHW-0005dS-00; Thu, 14 Jun 2001 14:55:50 -0400 From: Matej Vela <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.43 $ Subject: Bug#92493: fixed in csh 20010613-1 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: James Troup <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2001 14:55:50 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of csh, which has been installed in the Debian FTP archive: csh_20010613-1_i386.deb to pool/main/c/csh/csh_20010613-1_i386.deb csh_20010613-1.diff.gz to pool/main/c/csh/csh_20010613-1.diff.gz csh_20010613.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/c/csh/csh_20010613.orig.tar.gz csh_20010613-1.dsc to pool/main/c/csh/csh_20010613-1.dsc A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
