I'll answer for him, cause I'll be probably sponsor for this package. Yes he is working on it, and main problem is that gg2 is linked with openssl, and afair he tries to port it to gnutls. Upstream authors don't want to add exception to GPL for openssl, mainly cause there were many authors and finding all of them is hard to achieve. regards fEnIo -- ,''`.
