LLVM defines a common, low-level code representation in Static Single Assignment (SSA) form, with several novel features: a simple, language-independent type-system that exposes the primitives commonly used to implement high-level language features; an instruction for typed address arithmetic; and a simple mechanism that can be used to implement the exception handling features of high-level languages (and setjmp/longjmp in C) uniformly and efficiently. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.2-ahs3.0 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C --------------------------------------- Received: (at 239415-done) by bugs.debian.org; 12 Mar 2005 17:36:23 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 12 09:36:23 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from mailhub.hp.com [192.151.27.10] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DAAXG-0004uD-00; Sat, 12 Mar 2005 09:36:23 -0800 Received: from fcboson (c-67-162-152-220.client.comcast.net [67.162.152.220]) by mailhub.hp.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8987927113 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sat, 12 Mar 2005 12:35:51 -0500 (EST) Subject: closing #239415 -- ITP: llvm -- LLVM (Low-Level Virtual Machine) compiler for C/C++ From: Al Stone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain Organization: Hewlett-Packard Date: Sat, 12 Mar 2005 10:35:50 -0700 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Evolution 2.0.4 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-1.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_20 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: The debian/changelog for 1.4-1 had the "Closes" clause in it, but that upload was rejected, and I found a bug just a few minutes after the upload (of course :).
